Deliberately chose this hotel as it's located in a quiet area, yet it's just mins walk from Ginza area, Tsukiji station, or the Tsukiji outer market. Another selling point is the wooden bath tub, which gives a private, onsen-like experience, perfect to wind down after a long day. The bath tub is larger than normal ones, and it fits one adult & one child. The interior of the hotel is beautifully designed & well thought through, with Japandi as the overall theme. It's also a small boutique hotel, with only one lift and 4 rooms per floor. Perfect for that Tokyo getaway experience. Staff was really courteous & helpful. Amenities are provided for free & you'll get everything you need for basic hygiene and more. The drinks in the mini bar are also free (2 water bottles, 2 small cans of Sapporo beer, Coke & Calpis), which we thought was really a nice gesture. There's a few 7-11 & Lawson nearby, so there's no need to worry about wanting some small bites or drinks. Overall, it's really a great place to stay & highly value for money and recommended if you want to stay in a quiet area, yet still accessible to all the important areas in Tokyo. There's also 2 nice Sushi places just next door; one is by reservation & we didn't get to try, and another one offering a more local experience with obviously great selection of sushi & others.

TSUKI was in a great location close to Tsukiji subway station (Y and H line) and served as a great jumping off point for the rest of Tokyo. We were a quick walk to the Tsukiji fish market and we felt like we were a quick walk from all of the delicious food and bars in the Ginza district (we felt there was the best and most options in the area around the hotel). We did take a quick and affordable cab to and from the Tokyo station when traveling with our luggage. The room was large for Tokyo and was very clean and comfortable. The wood bath was massive and we had a nice soak after a day of walking the city. The breakfast was traditionally Japanese. We only ate the chicken option which provided a good tasty base for the day of walking. If you prefer more of an American breakfast we would recommend just picking up coffee and a pastry as a near by coffee shop. We would stay at the TSUKI again (and we are - just booked for our return to Tokyo).

I booked this hotel mainly for its cedar wood bath tub (or I’d prefer to stay in Ginza, more convenient for shopping, hee hee). That tub is what I looked forward to after a long day of walking around. The location is also perfect. A block from The subway lines H and Y took me anywhere in Tokyo. Tons of good sushi restaurants within 2-3 blocks radius (so you feel like you’re in “Tsukiji” district, for real!). 2 family marts, 1 7-11 and 1 Lawson and anyone small local supermarket for all you need! The staff is also very helpful when I need to ship stuff back. Super friendly and kind.

location is impeccable, (less than 5 mins away by taxi from ginza central shopping area, less than 10 mins away from Tokyo station (JR and shuttle to NRT). It is a petite size hotel (floor 3-10, 5-6 rooms each floor) but has everything we need, nice decorations at entrance/lobby, room is spacious compared to most other Tokyo hotels we stayed before (with same price range), wood tub definitely a surprise, love the complimentary morning bakery and tea/coffee. 2 sushi stores in same block, tsukiji tamasushi is a must try, the other one open till 3am, family mart only one block away.

Room was super comfy with every modern amenity we could hope for. Highlights included kids sized robes, the free mini cans of coke, calpis and beer restocked every day, free breakfast in lobby even though we thought they didn’t offer it, and huge wooden bath tub. Location is very convenient near subway and Tsukiji Market - the main reason we chose this area, although we found the market so crowded, touristy, and overpriced that it’s hardly worth visiting. We didn’t use, but they also have a traditional sauna (paid) and sake bar.
